Luis & Mary Elizabeth Oropeza carefully thought out every detail when it came to this Nashville home flip. Here are the Before & After Photos, and you won’t believe that a majority of paint, fixtures, and items were furnished from Stores like Home Depot, Target, and IKEA! Warning: You will be inspired with this amazing DIY 7 Day Flip Challenge, and may end up spending the weekend shopping at Home Depot.
The BEFORE photo of the home, the 70’s browns just aren’t cutting it. No Curb Appeal, and absolutely dingy and tired.
From drab to FAB, the new exterior was given a face lift with a fresh new coat of paint, Sherwin Williams Decisive Daisy, removal of the shutters, and a cheery and welcoming yellow door! The grey and white contrast updates this home, and the front door color adds that wow factor.
Not only did the front of the house get some love, the doors opening to the yard keep the bright and playful yellow accent going!
The kitchen is one of my favorite rooms that got the royal DIY treatment! Again with the brown in these BEFORE photos, while earth tones are comforting, this kitchen just needed to be brought up to speed to reflect the new and contemporary exterior.
The dining area in the kitchen was screaming to be updated as well. While beige and browns are the usual go-to colors for wall paint, you couldn’t change the kitchen without helping out this space too!
The kitchen AFTER an overhaul of a new backsplash which is Mission’s Half Baked: Icing on the Cake, a fresh white coat of Rust-Oleam Spray Paint for only $20, and new wall paint, looks absolutely stunning!
The Blue toned wall paint in the Dining Area compliments the backsplash, and the gorgeous light fixture is from West Elm. This fab combination dazzles with delight!
The Living Room BEFORE was dark and cave like, dark trim, dark walls, and dark furniture. If this eat-in kitchen looks this stellar, a little brightening up in the Living Room is called into action!
With a fresh coat of white paint, furniture and decor from IKEA and Target, you can’t get a better and brighter look than this at such an affordable price!
The Powder Room and Laundry rooms were nothing short of ordinary BEFORE, but AFTER adding new wall paint and Mission’s Uon Uon Porcelain Black Positive & Negative Wood Tiles, these rooms like positively clean and contemporary!
The bedrooms were also lacking charisma BEFORE with dark trim and lots of boring brown tones, but became boudoir worthy AFTER they were transformed with fresh new paint, plus new furniture and decor from IKEA & Target, and Home Depot Painters Drop Cloths pinched as draperies!
