“All the colors and sizes are like candy for design lovers. It’s so much fun to create new combinations that blend different hues and shapes!”

Crush tiles are made from 100% pre-consumer glass from the window and solar industries. VOC-free color pigments are added to the finely crushed glass particles that are then fit into molds to attain the desired sizes. The result is environmentally friendly tiles suitable for a range of interior and exterior wall and floor applications, including light  commercial and residential environments. The tiles are made in the USA by Fireclay Tile at their California studio.

“More and more of our customers not only want beautiful tile but tile that’s responsibly made, as well. Crush is made from recycled materials right here in the U.S.; it hits all the right marks.”

One Response to Mission Stone Tile Has A “Crush” On Our New Glass Tile

  1. Like any gemstone, price is dependent on a few factors: color, size and clarity, with cut also being important in pricing. A perfectly cut gem will still sparkle in artificial indoor lighting, which is one sign of a truly expert gem cutter. Stones which have been mined as opposed to made (a la synthetic gems), are higher in price. Natural untreated stones are also more expensive than stones which have been heat treated for purposes of coloring.
