The Prodigal Tile Son

If you thought you loved tile, your tile obsession may be put to the test with one person in particular.  Centuries ago a wealthy father’s distrust led him to believe his son would never amount to anything.  His son’s lifestyle caused him to believe that if he didn’t change his ways he would “never build his house of tiles”.

As an act of defiance the “Prodigal Son” fled to Italy to purchase thousands of tiles to apply to the façade of the building he had inherited.  The son’s House of Tiles in Mexico City is a total 50 Cent move, putting him back in good graces with his discerning father.

Ask us about our Mexican Tabarka Tiles to get this look, and if you are ever in Mexico City, just ask any local where to find the House of Tiles.  Be sure to dine in the restaurant, and reminisce on your own “how do you like me NOW’s”.
